I am going for a version of veggies, cider and pork today.
1 Pork shank (1.99 from Morrisons
1 large onion
3 baking pots
1 sweet pot
1 small butternut squash
500ml chicken stock
dark soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary
Chopped and softened the onion.
Peeled and chopped all the veg and dumped it in the slow cooker with the onion.
Added the stock and cider.
Seasoned with salt, pepper, soy and Worcestershire sauce.
Took the pork shank and rubbed with soy and rosemary.
Put that on top of the veg and turned onto high (will leave it for six to eight hours).
It was a GREAT success :)
