When I post fiction I always use my tag "type: fiction" which means, if you'd like to be notified by email when I post fic you can do it like this.
- Go to my user info
- Click the Track icon at the top next to the info.
- Choose the "type: fiction" tag from the drop down in what is usually the first item in the lists that says:
beren_writes posts a new entry tagged [List is here] - Check the email or inbox check boxes (depending on where you want the notification to go)
- Then click Save
If you're going to use this on your own LJ, be warned it only sends the notification if you put the tag on before you post the entry. Adding the tag later does not work.
