Well it was a great weekend and no where near as hard as we thought it was going to be. I shalln't bother you with the details. I shall be playing catch up to find out what's been going on here since I left.
Something occured to me in the car on the way home as I was pondering various fanfics and I wonder if you all would be so kind as to answer a couple of questions for me?
To all authors:
1) What do you consider your strangest work of fiction (in progress or published) and why? It can be strange in plot, in setting, in sexual situation - anything, just which do you think is the oddest.
To everyone:
2) What do you consider the strangest work of fiction you have ever read? (Same conditions)
Thanks in advance.
My answer to 1) has to be my in-progress Spider-man (movieverse)/LotR xover. My brain has thrown some strange things at me at times, but this is the oddest. And in case you were wondering, the relationships are Peter/MJ/Legolas and Aragorn/Arwen/Boromir - told you it was odd ::g::. It's basically a retelling of LotR with Spidey and MJ introduced to the universe. It came to me in a blinding flash during my Spidey obsession and refuses to go away even though I haven't written any of it in six months. It's like a stray that just won't leave me alone.
I haven't decied on my answer to 2) yet.
