Had an urge to bake over the weekend and made three lots of cookies for coffee after Church on Sunday. I would post the recipes, but I don't have them to hand at the moment so I will do so later for those who are interested. They came out of two recipe books, so I cannot claim to have come up with them myself ::g::.
The first lot were Greek Honey Nut Cruch and involve the most work because you have to do them in two batches and stick them together with filling. They all vanished very fast though, so I assume they were nice ::g::. Rob described them as disgustingly delicious - LOL.
Then I did what I think were called Tollgate cookies - they involve a wet cookie dough, chocolate chips and rice crispies - very yummy. I know one person ate four - LOL. They have a lovely chewy, crunchy texture.
The last were ginger cookies - crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. The batch made sixty of these so Rob took what was left over to work and I believe they have almost demolished all of them ::g::
I almost crippled myself with all the standing up I did, but it was worth it. I really love to cook and bake.
Oh and lost_house, I made your mushroom stew on Sat as well (with added pulses too) and it was lovely - a superb recipe, really superb. Thank you so much for that.
