1/4 pint milk,
Self raising flour (there is no hard and fast rule about how much)
Salt and pepper
bun (fairy cake) baking tray
Beat the eggs. Add the milk and season with salk and pepper.
Beat in the flour until you have a consistency of unwhipped double (heavy) cream.
Leave for at least 30 mins.
Put about 3mm of oil in each bun holder in the backing tray and place in the over at 200 C
When oil is hot (almost smoking) beat the batter again.
Spoon the batter into the hot oil (about 2.5 tblspns of batter per bun tray bit)
Put in the oven and cook at 200C until they are golden brown.
