Wow, what a weekend: was dragged to see Rob's parents on Saturday, which was fun, but knackering :), we went to the Tiptree Jam factory (again) - they do a lovely cream tea, and then Rob's mum cooked us a lovely dinner in the evening.
Then on Sunday it was the normal Sunday stuff, church, lunch and then in the evening we were over at a friend's making sandwiches. The first bank holiday in May is the 5 Church walk which is a 16 miles walk around five churches in the area and all of them open up with teas, coffees, cakes and sandwiches etc. On the night before in our parish we get together and sit around a kitchen table, drink wine and make up the sarnies ::g::.
Then yesterday was actually the 5 church walk and Soph and I were supposed to have the 12-2 shift helping out in church to serve the refreshments etc, but I ended up there from 12-4 and Soph was there from 12-5! I had to rush off to start tea, which I also wasn't expecting to have to make until the morning when Rob and I decided that we would cook rather than order in :).
And I still managed to write my three MMOM fics; aren't I good :). Didn't get the final chapter of OWTO done though *pout* - it's all in my head I just need time to write it down!
