The body of a beautiful girl dressed in a ceremonial robe is found on a playground roundabout. Her throat has been ripped out and the roundabout has a bad case of perpetual motion. Is it a ritualistic, magical murder or a setup to distract from the real killer?

That is the question that faces twins, Theo and Remy Haward, detectives in the Sorcerous Crimes Task Force (SeCT), when they are called to the scene in the middle of the night. That and who could commit such an act. They must find the answers to these and other questions, all the while ensuring the general public finds out nothing about the magical world that co-exists with their own.

Armed with their experience, their natural magical abilities and their complimentary instincts, Remy and Theo must identify the victim, follow the evidence and find the killer before anyone else dies.

You do not need a Kindle eReader to view this publication; there are Kindle aps available for most devices and Smashwords provides many eBook formats.

Listener - deep thoughts

Yay! They've renewed the Listener for season 3.

I was getting worried, but CTV just announced they have renewed the Listener for s3 :D <- this is my face.
Phew, I was not the kiss of death to yet another series I like ... usually I get interested in them and then they get cancelled!

Also, did a 500+ mile round trip yesterday for a funeral. It was sad, but there was one funny moment, at least for my sick and twisted little mind.

Okay so the wake was at a house called Touchwood (brain went Torchwood several times for a start) and the village was called Prixford. I nearly fell out of the car laughing. Sound out the name of the village in your head, then think about it for a while, I am sure you will get it ;).

P.S. Just in case you missed it, new novel came out today (the one I wrote with Soph). Details can be found here: http://beren-writes.livejournal.com/713965.html
