Any one seen Versus? (Directed by Ryuhei Kitamura)

I watched it the other night and it's most odd. I enjoyed it ... I think :). Y'know how anime and manga have these over the top characters, like the psycho mod type bad guy and the honourable biker bad guy and the moody hero type. Well Versus had all of this live action. I've seen live action manga before, but this really was as if it was a comic come to life. There was also blood everywhere just like the adult animes tend to have.

I'm still trying to work out if it was a zombie horror, a demon fantasy or a hoodlums and good guys type film. Bit like trying to categorise Dusk Til Dawn :).

I found myself facinated by the whole thing (except the end which seemed rather unnecessary and just the writers putting two fingers up to the viewers) ::g::. Of course it helped that the lead was rather easy on the eyes.

So has anyone else seen it? What did you think.
